Antonio García Ferreras, a Spanish TV presenter, was Real Madrid’s communication director during Florentino Perez’s first spell as president. He also said the fact Barca have Messi must make it more difficult to accept.
Ferreras, the presenter of politics programme ‘Al rojo vivo’ on Spanish TV is a massive Real Madrid fan and used to work for the club.
He spoke on ‘Radio Marca’ and has words for Barca legend Xavi.
“It has to be tough for him that Real Madrid have won four of the last five Champions Leagues despite Barca having Messi,” was Ferreras’ response on being questioned about Xavi on Real Madrid. The ex-midfielder spoke about Real Madrid’s “historic luck” in the Champions League.
That said, the TV presenter is a Messi fan. “Leo Messi. I love Real Madrid, but Messi is a unique player. On the football field it seems like God works for Messi,” he said on the footballer Real Madrid would love to sign.
As that is not possible, they are leaning towards Kylian Mbappe. “He would fit perfectly into Zidane’s formation,” Ferreras, who spoke about Florentino Perez. “When Florentino Perez arrived at Real Madrid, there was a massive step up. People are still not aware of the club’s importance after Florentino Perez’s arrival at Real Madrid,” he commented.
He also gave his opinion on Alfredo di Stefano at Valdebebas: “If Real Madrid make that decision, there will be people who criticise it.
And if they decide to stay at the Bernabeu, as well. It is very difficult being a Real Madrid hater because Real Madrid always bounce back.”
