A relative in Tanzania by the name of Steve Nyerere who is a comedian has remembered the Tanzanian musician Mr. Nice for the good he did for her.
According to Nyerere, he and others were Mr. Nice when he was very popular and the music was paying him well.
Nyerere recalls that he and his colleagues were beaten every time they took their eldest to various events.
He remembers one time he and his friend Ray Kigosi were hungry and had nothing to do. They urged each other to go to Mr. Nice to seek help.
He says they knocked on the main gate of the time without an answer so they decided to jump over the wall and go inside where they found Mr. Nice fell asleep and woke her up.
The first thing he wanted to know from them was how they got in, they became honest and said they jumped the fence.
He called the guard to prove it and found it to be true. He then gave them an ear to find out what had brought them to him and they told him they were hungry and had no money to buy food.
They could not believe their eyes when Mr. Nice gave them his bank card, passwords and ordered them to withdraw only one million Tanzanian shillings and return it.
Steve Nyerere says they sang Mr. Nice motion both back and forth. He thanks the musician who is currently busy in his music career and prays to God for blessings.
Mr. Nice is one of the musicians who introduced the new generation style in Tanzania by the name of Bongo Fleva.
He is said to have made a lot of money at the time which many say he did not invest but misused.
